2010 Color Me ZÜCA Design Contest Official Rules

CONTEST RULES:

Any citizen of the Milky Way Galaxy, is eligible to participate in this contest with the exception of ZÜCA employees, judges, and their immediate family members currently residing in any of the above locations. Persons thirteen years old and younger are required to obtain permission from a parent or guardian prior to submitting an entry form (or anything else) with personally identifiable information - there is a signature block on the contest entry form for this purpose.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited by law. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and by the decisions of ZÜCA, which are final in all matters relating to the Contest.

 

All personal information will be guarded by ZÜCA's privacy policy, and in no case will your personal information be published without your permission, or in the case of a minor, without the written permission of a parent or guardian. Should your design be selected, you will be contacted prior to publication of any information with the exception of the actual design.  For additional information about the ZÜCA privacy policy please see the privacy policy page on our website.

 

Submitted designs and entry forms become the property of ZÜCA Inc.  Each person may submit up to three designs.  No royalties or fees will be paid for submitted designs.


HOW TO ENTER:

  1. The Design Contest begins at 12:00:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) on April 1, 2010 and ends 12:00 PM PT on April 30, 2010.
  2. Go to www.zuca.com/contests, click on the Click Here link to download or print the blank template.
  3. Illustrate your insert bag design either using drawing software or good old colored pencils, Crayons, markers, etc. and color the frame the standard frame color that goes best with your insert bag design.
  4. Sign, date, and complete the form including a parents signature if you are 13 or younger.  Also make a good copy in case your entry gets lost along the way somehow.
  5. You can submit your entry electronically by scanning and emailing the completed entry in PDF or JPG format (1MB file size maximum please) to designcontests@zuca.com or, mail your form to:

DEADLINE: Designs are to be postmarked or emailed by 12:00PM Pacific Standard Time on April 30, 2010

DETERMINATION of WINNERS AND PRIZES: Entries will be judged by a panel consisting of various members of the ZÜCA team including our Marketing and Design staff.  Semi finalists will be chosen on the basis of how well we like your cool design.

 

  1. The semi finalists will be posted on the ZUCA website for everyone’s vote by May 14, 2010
  2. Anyone who visits the ZÜCA website is invited to vote for their favorite designs.  You can place your vote for three favorites but we have an old smelly trash can behind our contest computer that collects any additional electronic votes you might place.
  3. All finalists will receive a certificate of entry and a 40% discount coupon, good for the purchase of up to five (5) ZÜCA products on or before 4/30/2011, as well as other various ZÜCA prizes.
  4. The designer of the 3rd place design will receive a ZÜCA Cooler & Seat Cushion of their choice 
  5. The designer of the 2nd place design will receive a  ZÜCA Backpack choice.
  6. The designer of the 1st place design will have their design created and produced for sale by ZÜCA and win one ZÜCA Sport of that model.  In addition, the winner will receive, a ZÜCA Seat Cushion, Cooler, a certificate, and a 40% discount coupon good for the purchase of up to 5 ZÜCA products on or before 4/30/2011.
  7. Prizes cannot be substituted or redeemed for cash.
