Buy quality and you only buy once!
Tired of having my carry-ons destroyed after a handful of trips I decided to buy something that would actually last. As you can imagine, it was still essential that it be as light as possible, fit within airline measurements, and of course, withstand the abuse of all forms of travel. I won't hide the fact that what first caught my eye about the Zuca was it's stunning appearance. After that, the specs sounded almost too good to be true... able to support 300 pounds of weight??! removeable liner that can be washed/replaced... a nifty multi-storage system (which alone has revolutionized how I pack)... an extra cover to protect everything when you have to check it in... rollerblade-style wheels that are nearly silent (won't be heard by hotel neighbors when rushing out for a 6am cab) ... and yes, the wow factor is strong with this one. Here I am SEVEN years later and I'm still on the original liner, it still holds my big-guy weight (alone worth the price of admission now with limited seating due to social distancing) and surprisingly, still never fails to get at least three compliments per trip (often from flight crew, baggage handlers and even TSA... if these folks get impressed by a bag, you know it's special.) So, I noticed that my amazing carry-on didn't have a single review on here and decided to share with others how great a buy this has been. Yes, there's some sticker-shock, but if you travel even semi-regularly, the Zuca will save you money in the long-run (and you'll never regret a minute of it).
