What is ZÜCA’s warranty policy?
ZÜCA warrants that your ZÜCA products are free of defects in materials and craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care, skateboard contests or alterations. For more information on ZÜCA’s warranty policy, visit the Warranty Policy page.

  • The warranty applies to the ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY.

Will I void my warranty if I customize my ZÜCA?
We encourage you to have fun with your ZÜCA and you should feel free to customize it. However, keep in mind that any modifications made to your Frame or Insert Bag may void the warranty on the product.

What is ZÜCA’s return policy?
If you place your order within 30 days, you may send the unused product back to us for a refund. To start the process:

  • Call our customer service department at 800-799-6548 for an RMA form.
  • You will be given an RMA number. The RMA number will help us to know who the return is coming from, and make the return process a lot faster.
  • Write the RMA number on the outside of the box.
  • Ship your ZÜCA in its original packaging to:

Please note:

  • If you purchased your product from a retail store or a website other than zuca.com, inquire about your return from the original place of purchase.
  • Returned goods must be in perfect, unused condition with all original parts and tags.
  • Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • After 30 days, we are unable to accept returns for any reason other than manufacturing defects.
  • The shipping cost for sending back merchandise to be processed for a return is the responsibility of the customer.
  • We recommend using a traceable shipping method such as FedEx or UPS.
  • We may choose to reject the delivery of your package if you don't have an RMA number.
  • A restocking fee may apply.

My ZÜCA has a defect. What can I do?
If you find that your ZÜCA has a defect there are two options available.

If you find that the zipper is broken then do not fear. It is not defective. Our zippers are self-repairing. Run the zippers back and forth until the teeth of the zippers align themselves, linking the rows together. After the rows have linked together then the zipper has repaired itself.

Where can I order my ZÜCA?
We have authorized resellers throughout the country. To search for a local authorized reseller near your location you can search through our database, visit Find Authorized Reseller. You can also place your order online at zuca.com.

Do I pay sales tax? Do I pay shipping charges?
If the shipping address is within California then sales tax will be applied. Sales tax is based on the location of our main office, which is in Milpitas, California.

If the shipping address is outside of California then sales tax is not applied.

Shipping costs vary between the shipping method and the distance of travel. We offer free Ground shipping on orders over $100 within the 48 contiguous United States. Expedited shipping is also available. You can view the rates during checkout.

9.

Do you ship to international addresses?
Yes, we ship to international addresses! You may place your order online at zuca.com at any time. Before you confirm your order in the final steps, there will be the option to pick the shipping method. The number of days it takes to get to your destination are dependent upon United States Postal Service and vary by country. Please note, the shipping charges do not include customs and duties charges that you may incur at your border. Those are determined when your order enters your country and are out of our control.

When will my ZÜCA ship and how soon will I receive my order?
Your orders are shipping from our California distribution center and typically ship within 2-3 business days from the time you place your order.

We will ship your order using Ground shipping method. If you live on the west coast, where we are located, it will take approximately 2 business days for your package to be delivered. If you live on the east coast, it will take approximately 5 business days. As always, weather permitting.

You may also select other shipping methods including 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air delivery. We will ship your order according to the shipping method you have selected. Rates vary based on service level.

Please note:

  • The cut-off time for expedited shipping is 2:00 PM PST. If your order is placed after 2:00 PM PST, it will ship the following business day.
  • Calculating the delivery schedule is from Monday through Friday. For example, a 2nd Day Air delivery, which will take 2 business days, shipped on a Friday will arrive on Tuesday. The day of shipment does not count as transit time.
  • Next Day Air that ships on a Friday will arrive the following Monday.
  • We do not guarantee the performance of any freight carrier on any shipping method you choose.

International shipping method such as USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail will ship within 1-3 business days after the order is placed online.

How do I track my orders?
When your order leaves our warehouse you'll receive an email notification from the shipping company that contains your tracking information. Keep this email handy until you receive your package.

ZÜCA has 6 models to suit your style. Some are kitted unit and others may require some assembly.

What’s the difference between the models?
ZÜCA has 6 models to suit your style.

  • If you travel, the ZÜCA Flyer and the ZÜCA Pro are both FAA compliant and fits in the overhead compartment. The ZÜCA Skipper fits perfectly beneath airplane seats.

  • For daily activities, the ZÜCA Sport is the perfect bag that requires minimal care. The two wheels on the side mean it will glide over curbs and stairs.
  • For your pet the ZÜCA Pet Carrier is the perfect size for your furry friends that weighs 15 pounds or less.
  • For younger kids (4+) the ZÜCA Mini will give them the responsibility to carry their own loads.

14.

Is the Insert Bag waterproof?
The fabric is coated with 2 layers of polyurethane which make the Insert Bag water repellent but not waterproof. Water from light rain will bead off of the Insert Bag but a heavy downpour will soak the bag, so stay dry.

Please note:

  • You should know however that every time you use soap or detergent on a fabric treated with a water-repellent coating you run the risk of losing some repellency. Sunlight also diminishes the coating material. Happily, the repellent on our newest bags is very resistant to soap, most household solvents, and sunlight.

15.

How do I clean my ZÜCA?
To clean ZÜCA Frames use a sponge or a cloth and a mild detergent, rinse and wipe to dry. You can scrub it gently with a sponge and soap or a mild detergent solution. We use two different frame finishes. The Sport finish is called "Powder Coat", which contains colophony, a resin obtained from pine trees and other plants. It is applied to the metal as a dry, extremely fine powder using static electricity to attract it to the metal, and then baked on to produce a finish more durable than paint. Abrasive cleansers, steel wool or SOS pads can change the look of the finish by polishing it but may be the only way to remove some marks. The finish is non-toxic.

To clean the Insert Bag use a cloth or a brush and a mild detergent, rinse and then dry. You can wash the Insert Bag within the Frame or you can remove the Insert Bag from the Frame. You can leave the Insert Bag within the Frame and let it dry, or you can hang the Insert Bag to dry. We recommend letting the Insert Bag dry while in the frame.

16.

I don’t want my wheels to flash, what can I do?
ZÜCA sells a Black Sport Frame that has non-flashing-wheels. If you already have a Sport Frame, you can buy replacement non-flashing wheels. For more information visit the Replacement Parts page. The wheels on the ZÜCA Flyer and the ZÜCA Pro do not light up. If you want the wheels to flash you can buy flashing wheels. For more information, visit the Replacement Parts page.

17.

I want to tell you about a design idea I have but how do I describe the colors?
For color descriptions, check out ZÜCA's Pantone Colors and enjoy! For ideas in general, please understand that unless you have a patent, you will legally lose ownership of your design. That sounds kind of ugly but consider the fact that we may already have an idea exactly like yours in our design book. If that is the case, and if you send us your design, we would not be able to freely use our own idea even if we thought of it first. The patent office was established to solve this exact problem. Go to www.uspto.gov and you can file a provisional patent yourself. No attorney required at least for the first year of protection.
