A couple months ago, an employee at ZÜCA, Inc., e-mailed me and asked if I had ever heard of their line of luggage. I hadn't.
At that time, I was in a hate-hate relationship with my overnight bag. It was a multiple-pocket duffle bag that had the worst strap configuration known to man on it. When I got it, the bag was empty, and I had no idea how much pain the strap could inflict on my shoulder with even the smallest amount of weight in it.
I decided to check out a ZÜCA bag and see if it might be a nice alternative. I'm glad that I did, because the ZÜCA bag is my new best friend for when I need to travel for a week or less.
I just got this [ZÜCA Pro] bag and I'm buying two more! I love it, it's perfect for when I travel from L.A. to N.Y. and need to downsize.
I normally carry 3 large Tumi bags to every job. This bag is perfect to pre-pack for a specific client. With its durable frame, I can even sit my clients down on it to do touch-ups as it works as a chair, too. The color coded compartment bags inside make it easy to find everything I need.
ZÜCA is perfect for me because it's super easy to take anywhere -- I've now taken it to school, to Boston, and to Washington, DC. They even let me take it into the Smithsonian. When we were going through security, they said, "What's that?" My mom told them that it's a rolling backpack, so they let me take it. It really helped me in the Smithsonian because I could stop and sit on it.
I can carry my computer and all of my books. My mom likes to borrow it, too. She puts her computer in it and lots of work papers. Then my step-dad got a ZÜCA Pro and he thinks it's really cool looking and doesn't really want to share it! Maybe the best part of ZÜCA for me is that I sometimes get tired, so I can stop and rest by sitting on my ZÜCA. I can only use one hand, so it's hard for me to carry a lot of things. That makes the ZÜCA even better because everything I need is in it, and it's easy for me to use it without any help at all.
Providing services for critically ill children, I am often called to hospital emergency rooms to help resuscitate and stabilize seriously ill children. In my indestructible ZÜCA Sport bag, I can carry specialized equipment neatly organized to help me provide life saving services. THANK YOU ZÜCA !!!!!
Question: What do you get when you mix zillions of folks flying with lots of crazy weather conditions?
Answer: A flightmare!
I have discovered the wonders of ZÜCA luggage. I'm totally smitten with the whole line - the Pro, the Sport and especially the backpack. ZUCA is tough stuff. And, tres chic. ZUCA bags have lots of pockets for gadgets, thus appealing to my organizing bias. Their stuff is very well-organized. Let me repeat that - very well-organized.
As a celebrity makeup artist my job takes me to some of the most glamorous locations behind the scenes in some of the biggest studios to on the streets of New York where space is limited. My ZÜCA not only provides a seat for talent while I am touching them up it is compact enough for all my gear and I can work out of it without having to take all my product out. What can I say? I'm IN LOVE! XOXO
My ZÜCA Pro Artist Case, is essential at every shoot. It stores more make-up than any case I've ever used, keeps everything organized and professional-- since it's the only case I carry. But the real magic of this case is that it can hold the weight of a person, I've lost count on how many times I've had clients sit on the case while I did their make-up or when it's been my stool between shots. And I love that it rolls, which saves my back. It's a must have for any make-up artist!
