  • Gordon Ramsay's wife brings a ZÜCA Sport to ice-skating rehearsals!
  • Tiring of carrying your skates Tana? Gordon Ramsay's wife brings a suitcase to ice-skating rehearsals
    By Daily Mail Reporter

With their metal blades, ice skates aren't renowned for being the lightest of footwear. But as she headed to ice-skating rehearsals in London yesterday, Tana Ramsay looked like she was going for a weekend break as she carried her heavy skates in a suitcase. Accompanied by her son Jack, the cookery book writer, 35, was dressed for skating practice - and the snowy day outside - in a padded gilet, leggings and beanie hat. Tana Ramsay leaves an ice rink after training with her boots in tow, London Gordon Ramsay's wife has plenty of work to do after her lacklustre first dance on Dancing On Ice last weekend. The celebrity chef was seen watching with his hand to mouth in disbelief as his Lycra-clad wife was hoisted high in the air by her professional partner Stuart Widdall. After her performance to Take My Breath Away last week, which only received 12.5 points, Tana admitted it was the 'scariest thing' she had ever done. She said: 'I just wanted to get it done and not over-think it and just enjoy it and you know, I really loved it. It is probably the scariest thing I have ever, ever done.' Overcoming her fears: Tana admitted ice-skating was 'the scariest thing I have ever done' Judge Jason Gardiner was heavily critical of her performance: 'Lyrical, romantic, expressive that was not. 'There was absolutely no connection between you and Stuart. I felt that you were being very heavily reliant on Stuart. 'I know you are not a dancer so you really have to work even more at conveying a performance and emoting. There was nothing going on in your face, you had hands like paddles, the list could go on.' However, his fellow judge Nicky Slater was slightly more encouraging: 'I think firstly, your family will say well done, your friends will say well done and you can feel proud of yourself for having done that as a performer. 'Having said that, there is a little bit of a mountain to climb at the moment. What came over for me is that there are gaps in what you do. 'You can do it, just don’t stop between the movements and then we will see a big improvement.'

  • ZÜCA Takes the Lug out of Luggage!
  • Question: What do you get when you mix zillions of folks flying with lots of crazy weather conditions?

    Answer: A flightmare!

I have discovered the wonders of ZÜCA luggage. I'm totally smitten with the whole line - the Pro, the Sport and especially the backpack. ZÜCA is tough stuff. And, tres chic. ZÜCA bags have lots of pockets for gadgets, thus appealing to my organizing bias. Their stuff is very well-organized. Let me repeat that - very well-organized.

  • Rolling along with my ZÜCA bag!
  • A couple months ago, an employee at ZÜCA, Inc., e-mailed me and asked if I had ever heard of their line of luggage. I hadn't.

At that time, I was in a hate-hate relationship with my overnight bag. It was a multiple-pocket duffle bag that had the worst strap configuration known to man on it. When I got it, the bag was empty, and I had no idea how much pain the strap could inflict on my shoulder with even the smallest amount of weight in it.

I decided to check out a ZÜCA bag and see if it might be a nice alternative. I'm glad that I did, because the ZÜCA bag is my new best friend for when I need to travel for a week or less.
